The Process
Step 1 – Choose Your Pool
With considerations on the following factors:
Placement – Where do you want your pool and site access?
Is your pool being installed in-ground, semi-recessed or completely above ground?
Finishes – Choose a glass mosaic tile from Bisazza for your new fully tiled pool
Extras and Add-Ons – Choose your pump and filtration package, pool heater or any of our listed upgrades to best suit your pool
Step 2 – Building Approvals
Our preferred installers can guide you through all needed certifications, approvals and submit on your behalf to make it a stress free process. Urban Plunge Pools supply each sale with detailed engineered drawings and specifications for your peace of mind.
Step 3 – Excavation and Site Preparation
Your contracted installer will complete excavation and site preparation in accordance with our engineering requirements which align to your specific site classification.
Step 4 – Cranage
A crane will be needed to unload our pool from the delivery truck and into place on your slab as per installation drawings.
Access to the installation site will impact this step, installing your pool on a empty block or before slab stage will dramatically lower cranage costs.
Step 5 – Plumbing, Backfill and Electrical
Our pools have been designed for quick and easy plumbing installation which allow for same day connection. Every pool is delivered with all needed plumbing provisions installed.
A qualified electrician will guide you through the required power provisions and earth your pool to direct electrical currents to the ground and away from the pool.
Step 6 – Landscaping
You’re almost ready to swim! Our pools allow complete customisation to turn your dream into a reality with:

- Decking, Paving and Screening
- Glass Balustrades or Fencing
- General surrounding landscaping
Step 7 – Jump in!
After completing your final certification and inspection you are now ready to fill, start up your system and enjoy the seamless project of installing a Urban Plunge Pool.
